Arizona Chapter New Market Hike

| Description: In the spirit of the cadets charge up the hill at New Market we will do a short hike up one of the trails in the SE corner of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve at 32nd & Lincoln. The trail is ½ mile each way, is easy/moderate, and takes you to a ridge with a nice overlook of Phoenix. At the ridge, we will have a short ceremony to honor the New Market cadets and take a group photo w/ VMI Flag for the alumni review. When finished, we hike back down to the Starbucks to meet up with non-hikers. The early morning temperatures will be nice and this should hopefully leave the rest of your day free.
Time:
Hiking group will form up on the trailhead at 6:30AM.
Coffee only meet at 7:30AM at Starbucks
Uniform:
Gym dyke, wear appropriate shoes, hat and bring water.
Do the hike in grey blouse or coatee and I’ll buy your coffee!
